The CurtainSlider is designed primariliy for palletised loads, a truly flexible 'enclosed' body system for maximum productivity with fork-lift load handling. The CurtainSlider does not have the restriction of rear access only, in the case of a Box or Luton Van, or the vulnerability to the weather from a Dropside. 

The development brief for the body dictated that the curtain system should be safe for the operator, especially non professional operators in the LCV industry and other road users, whilst avoiding the traditional issues with Curtainside trucks - over or under tensioned curtainers, open curtain restraint in high winds, loss or rear vision in mirrors by the curtain billowing behind the cab. 

Therfore the sliding curtain system has been adopted, with the benefits of automatic tensioning - no dependance on operators to correctly tension the curtain both vertically and horizontally, fast deployment, and no curtain obscuration of the rear view mirrors - the vertical aluminium strainers keep the curtain flat.

Built to CEN and DIN standards, the CurtainSlider represents the ACME of LCV enclosed body transportation systems.
